Hangad ng papel na mapagtibay at malaman ang mga dinaranas ng isang tv TV field reporter batay sa kapaligiran ng kanyakaniyang trabaho - ang dilim ng Maynila. Kinalap ang mga datos sa pamamagitan ng panayam at pagmamasid sa buong siklo ng trabaho ng mga tv TV field reporter sa buong magdamag . Isinakonteksto ang konsepto ng “loob” upang masuri ang mga salaysay ng sariling danas ng mga piling mamamahayag ng telebisyon. Nabigyang tuon sa papel ang gamit ng konsepto ng “loob” ni P. Albert E. Alejo (1990). Inilahad ang mga personal na danas ng mga tv TV field reporter gamit ang mabusising pagtalakay sa konsepto ng “loob” sa aklat ni P. Alejo. Inilatag sa papel ang mga ito gamit ang mga sumusunod na kaisipan; abot- máalay, abot-damadamâ, at abot-kayakáya. Ang pagtukoy sa konsepto ng “loob” ng mga tv TV field reporter ay nagsilbing lundayan sa pagkilalakilála sa loob ng lipunang PilipinoFilipino. This paper investigates the experiences of TV field reporters who are covering news in the streets of Manila at night. In order to generate the needed data of the study, interviews with selected TV field reporters were conducted as well as observation in an actual night coverage of events. The concept of “loob” by P. Albert E. Alejo (1990) was utilized to further understand and give meaning to the personal experiences of the participants in this study. Moreover, the participants’ experiences were categorized into abot-malaymálay, abot-damadamâ, at abot-kayakáya which are important ideas in the concept of “loob”. Understanding the concept of “loob” among TV field reporters gave further directions in knowing the concept of “loob” among the Filipino people.
